The Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket: 5 people, 1 day, €28 *.

Travel around Rheinland-Pfalz and Saarland during the week and at weekends with our special low-price leisure tickets.

Who? For people travelling on their own (Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket Single), small groups up to 5 passengers or parents/grandparents travelling with an unlimited number of their own (grand-)children up to the age of 14 (Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket).

When? Valid for unlimited travel from Mon–Fri between 9am and 3am of the following day and all day at weekends and on public holidays.

Where? In Rheinland-Pfalz and in Saarland on all local rail services operated by Deutsche Bahn (RegionalBahn, RegionalExpress, S-Bahn), on other train services, in buses and RegioLinie services, on all services operated by the local public transport companies and on selected services that travel outside the state boundaries**.

You can buy the Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket for only €28 (€20 for a single ticket) at all DB ticket machines (simply press the RP Ticket button), in all DB and local transport companies’ ticket offices, in buses and online at www.bahn.de in the section Prices & Offers/Regional Offers/Ländertickets. If you require help planning your journey, these tickets can also be purchased from any DB ticket counter or office
(a €2 surcharge applies).

For passengers travelling on their own: The Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket Single: 1 person, 1 day, €20 *.

Please note: this does not apply on ICE, EC and IC services. No refunds or exchanges will be given for tickets and reservations that have not been used; ticket holders are not entitled to first class travel.

And what about bicycles?You can take your bicycle with you – free of charge in Rheinland-Pfalz and Saarland after 9am on weekdays and all day on Sundays and on public holidays, provided there is sufficient space. For more information about bicycle carriage on the services you plan to use, please enquire at your nearest DB ticket office or call the Service Hotline on 01805 99 66 33 The call will cost you 0.14 euros per minute only (when calling from a German landline (mobile network charges differ, max. 0,42 EUR/min. from a german landline).
