BahnCard

All three versions of the BahnCard, the German network card, are accepted. Holders of a valid BahnCard are entitled to purchase a single ticket with the appropriate BahnCard discount.

The current VRM terms and conditions of carriage apply.

The City-Ticket

The Deutsche Bahn AG City-Ticket entitles BahnCard holders to travel by local public transport free of charge to their final destination and back to the rail station on their return journey.

For this to apply, the journey must be at least 100 km and at least part of this must be travelled by IC or ICE train. The destination must also be one of the towns or cities participating in the DB City-Ticket scheme.

Holders of a BahnCard 100 are also entitled to use the City-Ticket. Like BahnCard 25 and 50 holders, BahnCard 100 holders may complete their journey free of charge on local public transport and do not need to buy a ticket for this part of their journey.

In the VRM network the City-Ticket can be used on public transport in the entire Koblenz area (zones 101 to 107).
