Rheinland-Pfalz ticket
- Scope of the RLP-Ticket
The Rheinland-Pfalz ticket offers complete mobility by bus and train across the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, both for individuals and for groups. The Rheinland-Pfalz ticket is available as a new 1-2-3-4-or 5-ticket for up to five people. It costs just 22 € per ticket plus 4 € per passenger. And good news for parents and grandparents - children under 15 travel for free!
The Rheinland-Pfalz ticket is valid Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m on the following day. On weekends and public holidays tickets are valid from midnight. The tickets are valid in all of Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and also on selected national and international routes *.
Tickets are valid second class on all local trains. Prices displayed are the prices you pay at Deutsche Bahn ticket machines. You can purchase tickets for only 2 € more at DB information desks, where you can find friendly and personalised advice before you book. Rheinland-Pfalz Ticket Nacht (Rheinland-Pfalz Night Ticket) (Kopie 1)
Along with the Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket, customers can now choose the Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket Nacht (Rheinland-Pfalz Night Ticket). The Ticket has been available since 11.12.2011, and can be used throughout the Rhine-Moselle transport network.
The Rheinland-Pfalz (RLP)-Ticket Nacht is not valid for travel by bus. On the stated day of travel, any number of journeys can be undertaken using the RLP-Ticket Nacht:
- Sundays to Thursdays, from 6pm on the stated day to 6am the following day
- Fridays and Saturdays (as well as on public holidays in Rheinland-Pfalz which fall on weekdays), from 6pm on the stated day to 7am the following day
The Rheinland-Pfalz-Ticket Nacht costs €19 for 1 person. The Ticket can be extended to cover up to four further travellers at a cost of €4 for each additional person.
